Vista H50R
It’s been ten years since I’ve owned a thermal monocular. The advancements in technology and price are night and day. The resolution and clarity are incredible. I can easily identify animals out past 500 yards. You can easily see the animals structure to tell what it is. I wouldn’t go as far as saying you can see detail at longer ranges but it’s pretty impressive. The lens cap was broke during shipping but the manufacture is mailing me a replacement. Over all I’m very happy with the purchase.

Good value
Don’t waist your money working your way up to the finest. After having used several thermal scanners this one is top notch. Great clarity, easy to use and has the rangefinder for needed applications. Great thermal monocular. Can’t go wrong with the price.
Pros:
- Clarity, pics and video
Cons:
- None

Nocpix Vista Monocular
This is my first NocPix product. I have owned Armasight, AGM, ATN, and Pulsar thermal products in the past. The product I purchased was the H50 with a native Four-power magnification. With regard to cons, I can only find two: The lens cap for the objective lens rotates around the lens for convenience. When opening however, the type of plastic "belt" that is used around the lens to secure the cover it is weak and cracked after only a few weeks of use. Although this is not a deal breaker, it is a little annoying in that it should not happen, it does not affect the operation of the device at all, but it does expose the germanium lens when the cover is not in place -- The other con is that the microphone is on the "hot" side. That is to say, if you speak in a normal voice while narrating a video, the audio will have a tendency to distort. This needs to be fixed by NocPix by simply reducing the gain of the microphone. The pallete colors are well-thought-out and work exceptionally well. Detail is excellent and the way the focus is set up allows the user to obtain an extremely fine focus in that the objective lens needs to be turned a significant ...
