I purchased this to test against the Norma 150 grain Whitetail. I had used the Whitetail version before and was getting 30 FPS more velocity than advertised (avg of 2822). So with the advertised velocity of the this one being higher I was anticipating it being closer to the 2850 range. Nope…. 10 shot average of 2683 out of a 22” Savage 110. 150 fps slower than the Whitetail and advertised to be faster? Will it kill a deer? Yes. However, I personally will not be using this as you can get the Whitetail cheaper and it extends your range quite significantly.
