If your running a PVS 14 pair this mount with the Wilcox AN/PVS-14 Arm Mount and you have the best set up for a 14 I've ever used. I've run 14s for a hundreds of hours in my 6 years in the Infantry and this set up gives you such a better experience than other more standard rino mount setups, the nods stow close to your head, it turns 360, built in break away ect.. I have two AN-PVS 14s. Both are set up with Norotos INVG helmet mounts. Obviously I think they are the best, or I would not have just purchased a second complete set of the Norotos mount, one for me and the other for my number 2 shooter. If you are fed up with the wobble and bounce of a J Arm mount (Got there in less than two minutes), choose this mount instead for a rock steady, never need to change or adjust the fit, mount. For shooting with a night vision capable optic on your rifle, you MUST have a steady optic on your eye, or using "shoot the dot" laser designators, this gives is the best. For complete mounted positions options on your helmet (side stow and lock away from your eye,) you must also purchase the Norotos Dual Dove Tail Adapter (sold by Optics Planet), and use both as a set. OK, so it might be a pricey option compared to the J Arm, but what is your first shot going to be worth? Both options provide an easy command detach from the helmet for observation and pocket storage if you are not using your helmet. I know there are lots of mount options out there, but this is the very best in my opinion

I received a product completely different than what's in the photo. My mount is missing the Breakaway feature. I reached out to Norotos today before I returned it. What I received is sturdy but like I said missing features. It looks like a knock off well maide but who knows. All the reviews a watched online they show the real product with all the features. I'm ot sure what happened.
