I ordered a box of Nosler 300 WSM. I noted the old reviews indicated a problem with chambering the rounds. Hence, I chambered each of the rounds provided by Optics Planet from Nosler. It was interesting to find that I was able to chamber all of the rounds provided. Possibly, the past problem was resolved.

Mind blown

Got two boxes. Sighted in with 4 worked great. Came time to hunt and when I tried to load one in the chamber I could not close my bolt. So my elk ran off. Checked every round from my two boxes and not one would chamber. All fit in the mag just fine.

Doesn't Fit

Ordered for my 300 wsm, like other reviews I cannot get the bolt to close when a round is chambered. Do not buy until the problem is fixed by Nosler. Hopefully Optics Planet or Nosler will make it right since this is now a known problem.

Rounds wont load

I bought 4 boxes of this ammo for my Browning A-Bolt II. Got it to the range and could not get the bolt to close on 8 of the 20 rounds. The 12 that I did get to load were very difficult to cycle, tried other rounds from all the boxes and the same problem. When I got home I took measurements of the cases and found that the brass is actually thicker than any other brass I have from Winchester and Federal so the diameter of the neck is actually too big to let the round seat in the chamber. Very disappointing as I spent well over $300 to get this ammo and it is useless.

Doesn't fit

I wanted to try the non-lead bullets for hunting this year, however, I have a Kimber Mt Ascent in 300 WSM and this ammo won't fit in my rifle. The bold won't close when I slide it into the chamber. Unfortunaely I have nice ammo I can't use.
