Being a much more affordable option for a piece of 1.93" height CNC'd aluminum one is undoubtedly skeptical when compared to what's popular on the market. Upon inspection the quality seems up to snuff, no extra frills or gimmicks, coating seems decent and it mounts everything pretty sturdy. I paired this with a Sig Romeo 5 red dot since it's foot print is the same as an Aimpoint and the height is lovely for my neck. The design itself looks great mounted up in either orientation. There isn't a lot of information or reviews about this product if someone were looking to do a comprehensive testing video it could save people a lot of money vs buying unity or scaler mounts for almost 3x the price of this product.

- Mounting Aimpoint footprint red dots at 1.93" and not spending $150 to do so.

1.93 riser
Bought the 1.93 riser to get my red dot higher to allow easier use of hearing protection cans (the lower red dot had the right can touching the rifle stock). Actually mounted the 1.93 to a Picatinny riser, making in effect a 2.4" riser. Target acquisition is much easier now. Finally, the 1.93" riser, used this way, allows for seeing the iron sight through the open riser (beneath the red dot).
