Decent sight for the money
These were on sale down to around $310 already, plus another 14% off coupon brought them down to $250 so I bought two and put them on a pair of AKs, one in 7.62x39 and one in 5.45x39. So far they’re holding up, but I’m not 100% comfortable using them as anything other than a fun/novelty scope yet. They seem to be holding zero, I like the reticle, using AA batteries is really nice but they are longitudinally mounted like old school EOTech 512s, and that turned out to be an issue with recoil on them, so hopefully I won’t have the same problems here.
One consistent complaint is the lack of brightness at the highest settings, but IMO they’re perfectly fine. I like the integrated mount, which is good since that’s all you get. Overall tho for the price of a Holosun T2 style optic, I think these are decent.

Nice Quality, Small Reticle
The reticle on the optic is way too small for some reason, maybe to account for the miniscule sight picture. Other than that it looks cool.

As close to the original as possible.
I always wanted an optic that fit my ak build and this was the best option. The glass is better than the originals and it looks like it will hold up. I hope Novus starts making more clones.
Pros:
- Nearly identical to the Russian original
Cons:
- Not the easiest to zero but it holds once you dial it in.
Best Used for:
- clone builds
