the shoes are a treat, they made happy feet
these shoes are of very good quality with very good workmanship. They are of leather and not plastic leather. I have been wearing them for about two weeks and my feet are very comfortable. When I get dressed in the morning I ask my feet, "Which shoes today?" My toes tingle with excitement and shout, "Oh Oh Oh yes Oboz's!!" I got the blue ones, they look great with blue jeans. Price for value is high and will most likely buy a pair in brown. The laces are a bit weak, I would recommend buying a back-up pair. Made in Vietnam and NOT China....

Be good to your feet!!!
These shoes are great, they give wonderful support to the feet. Higher arches, no problem they get support, too. Traction on rough terrain rates high and are a great platform for balance. This is a shoe that is not going to fall apart quickly, they're heavy duty. Two items to note. first, the laces seem to be a bit lacking, consider buying back-up laces, 48" flat. Second, they are made in Vietnam and not China.

Great hiking shoe, runs narrow.
I purchased these for my husband who was looking for a nice all around shoe. He says they are very comfortable and loves them. I ordered a wide due to reading other reviews saying they run narrow and he confirmed that the 12 wide felt like a "normal" width. Optics Planet had the best pricing and shipped reasonably fast! Would recommend all around!
