Replaced a heavier and bulkier handguard on my 8.5inch SBR and couldn’t be happier. The finish on the handguard looks and feels really good! Installation was super easy and all the instructions were easy to follow
Pros:
- Lightweight
- Finish and fit

Excellent handguard. Easy installation and adjustments. Clean look and great feel. Light weight and love key mod. This is my second ODIN, other for M5/308 platform. The M5/308 is very light weight and high quality. Highly recommend ODIN.

This is my second of these handguards, and it’s one of the very few options available for sub-6” barreled pistols and SBRs. I have it on a 4” 9mm SBR with a KAK flash can underneath. My Silencerco Octane also fits with room to spare. Still, there are some things I would like to see changed. First is the 1” of wasted space at the business end for the logo. At least two picatinny slots were omitted in order to have a place for the logo. That makes little difference on a 15” rail, but on a short little 5.5” rail, you lose 20% of your sight radius. This alone was worth losing one star. The only other issue I have is merely preference. Odin does not make the 5.5” handguard in M-Lok. All of my ARs have M-Lok except this one, which complicates things in the accessories category. I don’t have much on the shorty, but you better have a hand stop out there at the end to keep fingers away from the hot suppressor. Overall I am happy with these and if I ever need another short short rail, this would definitely be on the short list.
Pros:
- Short, large enough for can underneath

This free float is easy to install. The barrel is stiff after installation. Pretty light weight. Came with a short piece of pic rail. Looks good on an 18" DD S2W rifle gas system barrel. Does not cover up the gas block, but used a DD Mk12 gas block more for a certain look.
Pros:
- Looks good and lightweight.

One of the only rails I could find with an ID large enough to tuck a suppressor. It did not work with my side charge billet upper without modification but that's not what it was meant for. Great rail at a great price

Install was easy. Lightweight and sturdy. The keymod system seems to be pretty sturdy you just have to be sure you get it tightened down good. It seems to have a quality finish. The design on the sides is well milled out also.
Pros:
- Lightweight, well made, sturdy, good finish

This is a great handguard, simple, lightweight, easy to install without specialty tools and very solid mounting system. The only negative is the two- piece barrel mounting, while solid, can be tricky to get the top rail exactly lined up with the receiver. Until you play with it, it tends to be ever so slightly off after proper torque. Pretty simple to fix, just need to figure your where to start tightening the barrel nut and you're good. This is my second one, and overall an excellent product.
