Not ideal for sustained use
This cover is more aesthetic than useful. It started smoking after 70 rds of 75 gr 5.56 through a DD MK18 with a Hux 556K. Rds were fired with 3ish sec between shot, (quick but not overly so - occurred during a plinking session by my 11 yr old nephew). The smoke wasn’t just the normal heating like you’d see on a Burn Proof Gear cover, there was even residue from melted material on the exterior. Luckily there was no residue left on the suppressor after removal.
the Temp rating would not work
For an AR this would not hold up to the temp. This is more of a mirage cover

I melted this thing in like 2 mags. Wasnt mag dumping or anything crazy.

very solid supressor cover
Feels great, doesn’t slip a bit, and it’s not bulky so I can’t see it through my thermal. It holds heat very well. For the price, I don’t think it gets much better

I won’t shoot with it on, but instead I use it for when I’m done shooting!

Works good looks good in multicam on my sig cross. Snugs on tight.
