No way would i order this odin ragna handguard again. disappointed is the word. - Odin Works Forend Ragna M-lok 15.5" Ar-15

So I purchased this Odin Works 15 inch Ragna because it was on sale and it looked pretty cool. First the supplied barrel nut is secured with Vibra-Tite, no mechanical anti rotation device or mechanism. Second, I assembled it as per Odin's instructions to the letter and the handguard was tilted down from the receiver probably 10 degrees. Turns out the side aligning cone shaped small set screws were off the barrel nut locating groove by approx .025 of an inch. The barrel nut needed a .025" shim between the nut and the barrel to properly locate side set screws in barrel nut groove. So I remedied that. All assembled and workable after my fix except the handguard is very sharp to the touch because of all the CNC relief cut into it.

So to summarize if you want a sub par full floating handguard, by all means purchase the Odin Works Ragna, with the barrel nut secured with a form of thread locker and not with a mechanical means. And a poorly executed design to locate and pin the actual handguard to the barrel nut to prevent handguard rotation or movement. Btw, I have assembled numerous AR15 upper and lower assemblies over the years. The Ragna is a disappointment, look elsewhere for a quality product.
