Maybe a good gp knife but there are better out there especially at price point - Ontario Knife SK5 Blackbird Fixed Blade Knife - 10in OAL

The knife looks great. Really nice, comfortable G10 handle. Blade comes sharp and will hold a good edge. Decent sheath. My problem with this knife is that it doesn't handle batoning chores well at all. Mine broke at front base of blade with mild batoning through ash wood. Before it broke I had a chance to try whittling in order to produce kindling shavings, and it wasn't very good at that either (even though the blade was super sharp). I won't be buying another to replace.
