Most Helpful Positive Review HPSHOOTER
This is a quality product for the money. I am able to see my 223 shots at 200 yards. It has most of the features that more expensive scopes offer. It rotates, angle optics. Allot of scope for the money.
Most Helpful Negative Review shame, typical chinese cheap quality
i wasnt expection greatness, and i was not disappointed. stand is a joke, when you adjust the power the collar starts to jam up. even the bag is not the right size. but, the optics are good and adjustable. would not by another chinese optic item Pros: optics good Cons: poor stand, poor adjustabilty,...

reviewing worst review

A twenty year-old sixty-five dollar bushnell scope is a 3 hundred fifty dollar scope today, so that is the valid comparison being made. The value of this review is that it makes me think it would be prudent to buy this scope for 175 dollars in a store, if they would let me take it outside, to sight a tree leaf at 100 yards for example, at dusk. The reviewer got a unit that slipped through quality control, it seems to me.

Perfect for range use!

by Legacy Reviewer, from WA, United States Written on June 5, 2014
We designed this product to be a reasonably priced spotter with plenty of power to resolve bullet holes at longer ranges. The collar rotates for easy use at the range, and the included tripod works adequately. Great for range use or light spying on birds and people. Comes in a protective case. Lifetime warranty and wonderful performance for a small price.
Pros: Rotating collar

No Response from OPMOD on warranty issue

by Legacy Reviewer, from WA, United States Written on April 9, 2014
The barrel of the spotting scope appears to have separated
halfway along its length, directly beneath the strap that holds the tripod mounting shoe. The front end of the scope body wiggles. The focus adjustment knob feel is rough when turned and causes the front end to oscillate.
Pros: Low cost, light weight, decent optics, birding friendly
Cons: Middle of scope body is inadequately built. Failed after only three months

Great Product for a Great Price

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner from VA, United States Written on April 27, 2013
I've been on the market for a good spotting scope for about a year now. This one has far surpassed any expectations I had for a spotting scope in this price range! In my humble opinion, this is a Great Buy!!!
Pros: Great functionality! Ability to rotate the eye peace for ease of use during bench shooting
Cons: The tripod is solid but not designed for anything other than level ground

Why pay more

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner Written on August 20, 2012
I "downgraded" to this spotter after having a frustrating time with a spotter that cost 7 times the price. I am very happy with this product. I only use it at the range and for that it meets all expectations. Very nice having the swivel feature which allows you quick looks without craning over the entire unit.
Pros: Excellent value for money
Cons: Tripod

OPMOD Spotting scope

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner Written on July 22, 2012
this scope does exactly what it was purchased to do. We use it for saving our legs and not walking 100 yards to see the target hits. It does very good at 50 and 100 yards but over 100 yards would probably be pushing my ability to see a 223 hole in a target.
Pros: easy set up, tri pod, and angled sight.
Cons: none
