Excellent tripod!
Excellent tripod with wide range of easy adjustment. The three legs adjust in 3 different places and then the top pole of the tripod easily adjusts with just the spin of a handle, allowing it to accommodate people over a foot difference in height! Sturdy but lightweight! Worth twice the money!
Pros: Sturdy, easily adjustable in several ways
Cons: Would like a bag to come with it
OPMOD Tripod
I bought this and a Bushnell Legend HD Telescope to take on family trip to Yellowstone to view wildlife. Both arrived quickly with no Problems. This Tripod is just not sturdy enough to handle the scope. It moves when you touch the scope to focus, bump it with your eye, or slight wind while viewing. I wouldn't classify it as junk. If I had to pack it hunting and carry it 5 miles in Alaska up a mountain, I'm sure I would appreciate the light weight and put up with the wiggles. All of the nobs work and function well. I believe it is more suited for a camera or video camera to take wedding pictures and probably is great for that. I thought this would be better than the $40 Tripod I had. I compared them and are basically the same quality and function. You get what you pay for. I met other folks with telescopes that were much sturdier. But I did not spend $300 either. Its ok, I would have spent more money if I had it to do over again.
Pros:
- light weight
- functions

Great Tripod for the Money
I use this at the range for the OPMOD spotting scope I bought. It's steady, easy to adjust, holds position well, and has a shoe I attached to the scope. I would have preferred a metal shoe but hey for the price it's decent. Works and it's inexpensive. My only complaint is don't count on the warranty, because you will not get a response from Opmod service. I was given an e-mail address (you have to e-mail them) by Optics Planet customer service, which I used, but never got a response to.

The cheapest you can pay for a tripod and get decent quality.
The review title says it all. For how cheap these are, its impossible to beat. As long as the setup you are going to mount to it is 4 lbs. and under (what I have tried) it will be good to go. Not as stable as high end pods but half the price. I have come to respect anything with the OPMOD stamp on it.
Pros: very functional, decently stable, lightwieght
Cons: Not as stable as high end bipods, but less than half the price.

Excellent Product for the Price
Great tripod for not much money. Note high end quality, features, or price, but for the money it does a nice job. I bought this for my Opmod sotting scope (which was another good value), and it holds it steady at the range. It's a basic decent tripod if you don't need a super lightweight packer or loads of fancy features. Great for the rifle range.
Pros: Great Price
Cons: No Bag

OPMOD APT Limited Edition Tripod Great Buy
Very happy with this tripod. I bought an adapter so I could mount my laser range finder on the tripod. I use the combination for distance-to-target measurement when doing long distance shooting.
