Not usable - Atibal OPMOD XP8 Mirage 1-8x24mm Exclusive Rifle Scope w/ Rapid View Lever, 30mm Tube, Second Focal Plane (SFP)

Decided to try it out following all the positive reviews - quite a disappointment. First, the fishbowl effect even on 1x makes it impossible to use the scope with both eyes open, it makes my head spin, so no CQB and no fast transitions. The focus on 1x seems to be only in the center of the view, surrounded by a very noticeable out-of-focus band. Starting at 4-5x the chromatic aberration makes the colors seem weird, making all white objects look purple on the edges and out of focus. The only reason for LPVO is to have a useable 1x for CQB with the added benefit of zoom, in this case 1x is not useable, for me at least. Oh, I and compared this scope to Vortex Strike Eagle and Sightmark Citadel - all similar price point - the difference is clearly not in Atibal's favor.
