As a hog hunter, quick target acquisition in thick brush is crucial. The ATN ThOR 5 is a game changer. The ultra-sensitive thermal sensor, combined with the crisp OLED display, lets me spot hogs hiding in the dense vegetation like it's nothing. I was blown away by how clear the image is, even at night! This thing has seriously upped my hog hunting game. The different magnification options are also a huge plus. I can zoom in for a closer look when they're further out, or keep it wide for when they're charging in close. The ballistic calculator is also pretty slick; it takes the guesswork out of longer shots, wich is awesome. I love the recoil activated video (RAV) too. Being able to instantly replay the shot and share those epic hunting moments with my buddies is priceless. It's also nice knowing I'll never miss recording a shot because I forgot to hit record.
Overall, the ATN ThOR 5 is an amazing thermal scope. It's packed with features that make hunting hogs (and other game) so much more effective.

My biggest complaint was the control buttons on this scope.
There are a total of 8 buttons on the top of the scope all positioned close together including the magnification buttons, I found I had to continually take off and put my gloves back on to operate it in frigid conditions, a control wheel would be more practical.
Also the firmware downloads are a pain, the scope was two updates behind, when I finally got it updated to the latest version a bunch of features did not work so I had to go thru the whole process again. for 2K I just want to be able to take it out of the box and use it ! Am I asking too much ??

Just received the scope in the mail yesterday. Right out of the box I noticed the quality and ease of getting everything started up. It came with an upgraded mount other goodies which were a bonus. The clarity and filter options are amazing and for the price, it don't get much better than this. I got it mounted on my AR and am hoping to deal with our predator problem on our farm once and for all. Looking forward to many years of service and fun!
