Great versatility! I have a lot of long guns and the QR for both the optic and the magnifier gets used a bunch. There are times I don't want the 3X and times I do. Plus I move the multiplier to sit behind the other Eotechs I have. Moveing the magnifier needs no change in zero for the optic and the QR on the EoTech EXPS series optics holds a decent zero when it is R&R from the same weapon and its easy to adjust in general. For 100 yards or closer this is the way to go. Allows both eyes open shooting and has a large clear field of view. The single 1 MOA dot is the way I prefer it and that is what you get on the EXPS3-0 model. I find the single dot works best with the 3X magnifiers when used. The adjustable brightness is valuable for varying light conditions and target ranges. For fast close shooting the EoTechs rule. Also these things hold there value; if you ever need to sell yours you will get a decent return on investment.

The one feature I wish this combo had was a reticle you could activate/deactivate in the ACOG scope so that you could de-couple it with the Red Dot if you wanted

The Holosight and Magnifier are ruggedly built and most certainly look outstanding on my awesome PWS MK116. I, however, still choke up when I think about the price I paid. For the pair I'd have felt something closer to $800 would have been a fair price versus the thousand.
Pros: Eotech Quality. Extremely easy to mount. Optics are a joy to look through.
Cons: Steep price

I really think that this is a great optic it works just as I expected it to and it works really well at range and in CQB.

The x3 magnifier flips out of the way for CQB but easily flips right back in to place so you can go right back in to mid to long range targets.

The olny real problems I could see is if you are a left hand shooter the magnifier would be fliping the wrong way for you.

The price is expensive but it is worth it I think I was looking at this optic or a ACOG and this one is cheeper and really the best of both worlds it is great for CQB and really nice for mid to long range as well! Also after cheaking around opticsplanet had the best price I could find.

In summery I really like it and would buy it again probabally the best optic on the market right now!

Cons: The olny 2 down sides is that it is exspensive and that then colors are not a exact match but thats not that big of a deal to me.

This is a really well made sight and is really easy to set up and zero in. The only issues I have with it is adjusting the brightness and turning it off if a little hard. It takes a hard push on the side buttons. If you're trying to do that quickly and keep the barrel up, its really hard. The other thing is supposedly when you remove the sight and put it back on its supposed to be very close to zeroed and that is not the case. You have to adjust it. These are small problems compared to what you get for quality and performance but they might be a deal breaker to others.

I didn't like the price, but once I installed it on my Ar15, zeroed it in and fired a good 200 rounds with it and I love it! Its the best solution for tactical situations and being my next purchase will be the opmod night vision monocular nv14-3, it will be a perfect fit.
Pros: Short & Medium Range great accuracy and very rugged. Great Tactical choice.
Cons: Price. Long Distance shots.

I put this sight on my patrol rifle and it gives me the versility I need. Out of the box I was shooting tight groups. The package is well worth the money. My department liked it so much they are considering purchasing some.

This is an Amazing optic, great clarity through both the magnifier and the Holo.... This I a very versital optic with awesome performance....recommend for everyone......

This setup is great for everyone, being able to switch from cqb to med range with the flick of finger and back again. After removing and re installing with quick detach levers, sight was zeroed at 200 yards! Now that is sweet! Looks great with all my dark earth accessories. One moa dot with 65 moa circle sight is very clean (exspecialy through the magnifier) and makes for very fast target acquisition. I would put one on every AR!
