Everything I love about my previous EXPS but next generation.
Love the tanodized body. Purely aesthetic but just looks awesome.
Green reticle: finally! Been running a mix of green and red dots for a couple years so it is nice to be able to get EoTech in green as well.
Everything else is the same. Circle dot reticle is great - quick to acquire, can be used for holds or mechanical offset, and has great brightness adjustment for any condition.
No night vision settings is a little disappointing but not a deal breaker. Battery life isn't exactly "industry competitive" either but part of that is inherent for holographic sights.

Well if EoTech listens, they already know that the software needs to include the “Shake Awake”. feature. They could do away with the manual on/ off features.. It’s the small things that count. Pixelated mess
The reticle is pixelated and unusable. Nothing about this sight is crisp. I dont know how the center dot is 1 moa. It has such poorly defined edges. Yes, yes i know holographic sights are different then "normal" red dot sights but it looks like the reticle is made of up static from an old tv. Before...

Bummer reticle
For the price of eotech, I was expecting a clear reticle. It's super sunbursted out. You almost can't tell there is a 1 moa dot in the circle. It's more like a 65 moa blob

Hoping I recoeved a one off
Purchased this holographic sight with the green reticle. Nice and bright but very pixelated. Doesn’t look like other eotech when held side by side. Also the glass looks like it’s coming apart. Returned immediately and costumer service was great!
Otherwise the fde color fit and finish of the body was on point. Nice quick release, great field of view and glass was clear just coming apart on the edges on all four sides.
Guessing I got the defect. Hoping my next one doesn’t disappoint or I will go a different route. Also went with the red reticle for the exchange. When holding one from a retail store side by side the red did not look pixelated.

My first HWS
For first timers. I usually have been mainly into LPVO and a canted red dot. I’ve always wanted an HWS but wasn’t sure if it was worth the price. It’s a bit different in that you are more looking through the sight than lining up a red dot. It took a good hour to really adjust and now I don’t see the blurry sight at all anymore. A good solid magnifier will refine the reticle like you may be used to. I understand why it’s a faster option now. It’s simply the mechanics of the way it works. I went for the green dot because it was the color and price that made sense. I would choose a red over green any day. It’s how my eyes work. That being said I love this optic and will be looking forward to more in the future. Would recommend and highly recommend giving your eyes time to adjust properly. Also mount it right. Not way forward like an LPVO. There’s official videos on it.

OPMOD Green Doughnut
Love the OPMOD version of the Eotech EXPS2-0 Green Dot. The reticle is bright and the glass is clear. Finish is nice only con about a Eotech is battery life. I ordered my Eotech on a Friday and it was shipped out the following Tuesday. It was delivered to my mailbox on Friday !! I opted for the 3-5 business days at shipping. My order shipped on a Tuesday received Friday. I did not have a negative experience with OP. The Eotech was showing in stock when I ordered . I will be using OP in the future product exactly as described and fast shipping and the only place to get the OPMOD Eotech. The Tan EXPS with the green doughnut is a beast

eotech exps2 green
Love eotech products. Have a lot of their stuff and have used their stuff in combat operations in oef, works great with big windows! I personally like the green especially in daytime.. very easy to pick up the sights! Will buy more and as usual great prices from OP!

EOTech EXPS2 green reticle
Excellent optic! For those who have never used an EXPS2 green, the reticle will appear fuzzy at first if you’re focusing on the actual sight. As soon as you acquire your target, the green reticle clears up. The human eye acquires these green sights much faster than red optic sights. I’m much faster with my target acquisition. Spikes Tactical 300 blk out suppressed, custom build.
