Handy to have in the bag
This is one of the laser bore sights I keep in my range bag.
Not fancy in design/construction but it has a strong magnet and a powerful laser so most of the time I can attach it to any pistol or AR muzzle and see the laser in bright daylight.
Runs on a CR2 battery, not the most common but not that hard to find either.
I pull the battery out when storing it, the on/off switch is too easy to bump even when in the case.
(putting the boresight in the case, closing it, and sticking the battery to the magnet works well for me).
Not the most accurate boresight on the market but it definitely gets me on target and within a reasonable adjustment distance every time

Yeah the on/off switch is a bit "sensesetive " but the quality and workmanship is better then average and the laser IS quite adequate. For the money AND accuracy you can't go wrong. I have utilized on numerous weapons and am always amazed and how fast I can get to the bkack. I feel next to cleaning kit this is a MUST to have.
Pros:
- Decent price, quality workmanship, and quite adequate laser.
Cons:
- If had my way would want a MUCH better on/off switch

- All type ballistic weapons.

Yeah on/off switch is a bit sensesetive. Quality is VERY good. A SUPURB tool for anyone who old like I am with my weapons. Once applied to weapon and I was shocked, surprised, and EXTREMELY happy. Within minutes was on paper and ONE shot said I AM the man.

- Quality, ease of use and very well made. The laser is quite able for day use. This is one of the better tools I keep in my box to impress buddies. I would reccomend to anyone who wants, needs, or desires

I was all set to really love this laser, but...
It has one serious flaw. The claim is that it'll save you ammo when sighting in. It actually would save you ammo, if there were any mechanical means of aligning this laser with the center of the bore axis. The magnet just isn't enough.

Useless as a boresighting tool
This boresight is completely useless. Because the magnet end is flat rather than conical, there is no way to be sure it is centered on the barrel. If it is not centered on the barrel, setting my sights to it will not make my handgun more accurate and likely will make it less accurate. I can’t believe that opticsplanet even puts their own name on this ridiculous, useless laser toy and then promotes it as as a reasonable boresighting tool.

- Bright green laser dot at good distance

- Impossible to center on barrel

- Entertaining my cat

Arrived WO batteries. Called and was sent batteries that are not CR2 batteries.
Sent some watch batteries. I need the correct batteries.
Needed the batteries so I bought my own $11 ea.

ELTRASHOOOOOO
Bought two of these and both were junk (my humble opinion)... if you turned the darn thing the laser would shut off, shake it and it might come back on, both of them did the same thing. The two that i bought had 3 equally spaced lines????? (120 deg's apart) that tapered down to a point which i would think it would center itself C/L of the barrel, NOPE... And that's my 2 cents on that thing......... RRL

Easy to use
I'm glad that this was so easy to use the green dot was easy to see and the battery lasts longer than I expected still going strong the magnetic field is very strong it holds on to the barrel well. Happy with this

Dim & Undependable - Do Not Buy
Tried this out at the range this morning. It is bright out, but not really bright. You Cannot see this laser beam. We saw it reflected at 35 yards against shiny coated metal, but it doesn't show up on paper. The battery is loose, this thing turns off by itself. You put it on the end of your barrel, and you can't find the beam because it turns off in addition to being too weak. If this works at all, it will only be in low light...

It doesn't work!
I purchased this a few months ago. It worked when i got it. I put it in its case and inside the original box for several months. After I completed my build, I was ready to sight in my BUIS and optics. I couldn't get the OPMOD foresight to turn on. I thought, maybe the battery died somehow in the plastic sleeve provided, even though it wasn't in the device. I purchased new batteries, and still no laser being emitted. Definitely disappointed. I wish I had a magnet issue like others but I just wasted money!
