Most Helpful Positive Review Works Great
I like the look and style of the OPMOD Pro Ears so I decided to give them a try. They are so much more comfortable than any of my non-noise canceling headsets. The controls are very easy to use while wearing the headset but I don't find the need to use them much once it's set to my liking other tha...

Most Helpful Negative Review Misleading
These are almost as good as the Howard Leight at more than twice the price, they really should feel and work better for the extra money, Also they are listed as having the "TP-120 U-174" connector, this is false, they have a standard 3.5mm headphone jack and cable, this feature was the reason I boug...

So far they work well with no complaints. I'm not hard on my equipment so they aren't living a rough life either.

For 35 Bucks, very happy with these ears.

by Fishy, Verified Owner from OK, United States Written on January 12, 2025
I have not been fortunate enough to do anything but hold pel tors or other $500 + ears, but for 35 dollars I think these deliver. Granted, I have only worn them a handful of times after getting them on a black friday deal they work as advertised so far, and the ear cups are far more padded and comfortable than that on the Walkers. That being said, I don't trust these not to drain my batteries while turned off so I do take them out after each range trip. Also, they come with what I can only describe as an AUX chord to plug in to a radio or something, which I have not seen on any electronic since about the Iphone 6. So definitely behind the times there. But, again, these were 35 dollars on black friday so I can't complain too much. I wouldn't pay over 100 or whatever BS they claim is MSRP.
Pros:
  • Cheap
Cons:
  • Old style
Best Used for:
  • Larping

Poor price to performace

by GIB, Verified Owner from MT, United States Written on January 5, 2025
Everything it claims to be capable of is true all while not doing any of it exceptionally well.

I’ve worn a lot of different earpro over the years and grabbed this set on black Friday sales for ~$30

The fit/comfort is ok but the audio quality of the internal speakers is BAD even for a $30 pair (not to mention the claimed non sale price of $120)

If you’re on the fence, buy a different pair.
Pros:
  • Works as described
Cons:
  • BAD audio quality
  • made from cheaper material

For $37 stop complaining

by Bacon, Verified Owner from CO, United States Written on December 30, 2024
I think these are amazing ear pros for the money! I’m not gonna be to critical for 37 dang dollars!!!! If I paid $400 I’d be acting like the peeps in the bad reviews!!! Don’t think you’re getting Comtacs for $37!!! Keep you expectations realistic and you will be happy!

Save your $$$

by 20Niner, from FL, United States Written on September 10, 2024
Feedback could be heard even with unit turned off which killed batteries. Right out of the box the ear pads were easily crushed and did not hold shape. They were unusable after just a couple months of use. There is no product support or option to replace the ear pads from ProEars.
Pros:
  • None
Cons:
  • poor quality
  • No product support
Best Used for:
  • PAPER WEIGHT

These are great! My brother and I were shooting side by side. They did a great job of protecting my ears while allowing us to still talk to one another.

The OPMOD hearing protection is very good for blocking out harmful sound. The headband strings are strong and need getting use to.
