Most Helpful Positive Review 7.62x39 ar
I wanted to switch my trigger cause the pull was so long. Switched to this bad boy it is very crisp. Easy to install
Most Helpful Negative Review Light primer strike
Ran good for about 80 rounds, then it started having issues. Became every other trigger pull was a light strike. Would have to take out the back pin and see it was only in half battery and manually reset the trigger.

did not work

by James M, Verified Owner from KS, United States Written on March 4, 2026
I installed this in my Diamonback Obsidian AR pistol 556. It did not function correctly and I tried everything. Had a buddy come over to see if I did something wrong on install. He started over and got the same result. Installed it in his S&W sport II. It worked like a champ. I just gave it to him and I kept the handstop. Just maybe thr Diamonback does not like cassette style triggers. Gonna try a Geissele component trigger next to see what happens.

not as expected

I like to tinker, build, and assemble rifles and handguns. Everything gets modified and upgraded to achieve what I think is its most appealing and functionally sound final form. That being said, I have experience in multiple triggers- Geissele, Timney, Steel city, JP springs, etc… this is my first rise armament opmod enhanced trigger. I have currently installed it on three separate AR’s and all three seem to have a midway “bump” when charging the handle on the initial pull. The trigger pull weight is as advertised and also a short reset, it doesn’t seem to be snagging in any way other than when manually charging the rifle. I don’t know if it is a rise armament thing or just a me thing but I have only had that issue once before on a PSA build with a mil spec trigger that was replaced. I will be searching online to see other people’s response to that particular trigger to see if I have a defective unit or maybe it needs to have a break in period? Not sure for now but currently not impressed with the RA opmod trigger.

great 3.5 lb drop in with micro stop

by Travis, Verified Owner from UT, United States Written on January 23, 2026
highly-rated for fit, function, price, pull weight, crisp break, short reset
Micro stop is on the small side, good for pistol build.
I like the new upgraded hex trigger shape for shorter hands and closer reach.

Great trigger

by Patrick Jones, Verified Owner from OK, United States Written on March 22, 2025
I love the hex curve, feel of a straight trigger with the easy constant finger location on the trigger, very crispy and very little take up.... Reliable and easy to install.Ive put more rounds through it with multiple uppers from different manufacturers than I could count, it needs to be cleaned and oiled every 500ish rounds when it gets gritty it occasionally light strikes.
Pros:
  • Comfortable
  • great quality
  • EASY INSTALL
Cons:
  • Can light strike if extremely dirty
Best Used for:
  • Have used with multiple uppers without issues
