This optic is impressively rugged for a budget offering. The housing could survive being ran over by a truck, it has flip-up transparent lense covers, and takes a AAA battery instead of a 2032. I dare say I'd suggest it over a Romeo5, having owned both. And it's a pleasant plus that the optic resembles an Aimpoint Comp M5, for those looking to build a budget "near" clone.
Pros:
  • Extremely sturdy.
  • Lense covers are transparent flip ups.
  • Simple dial brightness adjustment is great.
  • Mil-spec hex bolt rail mount.
  • Spacer included for 1/3 or absolute cowitness.
Cons:
  • It is still a budget offering, if that counts.
Best Used for:
  • Affordable near clone of military rifle.
  • A sturdy offering for a beater rifle or for anyone looking for a simple one and done solution.
