Nice OPMOD Sight!!!
A couple years ago I began outfitting all of my rifles, blinkers included, with Shake Awake/MOTAC sights. My MSRs and Mini 14 ended up with Holosun HS515GM sights, while two 10/22 rifles dressed up in ATI Strikeforce stocks got Northtac Ronin P-11s. My remaining 10/22 in a Tapco Intrafuse stock got ...

Can't beat the price.
Sig product for $100? SOLD! Order was shipped and received within one business week. I got the red over green dot, idk just a preference I guess. Packaging was nice however the unit itself was Alot smaller that I thought it would be. A bit on the heavier side but built like a tank. A little baby tan...

astigmatism dot
dot appears to have astigmatism. not sure if its just my product but i also have a green dot holosun and it too has a dot with astigmatism. maybe its just the green dots that look like that compared to the red dot. maybe its the 2moa that is like that. idk. i have another holosun red dot and its dot is 10x more crisp. i now have 2 green dots and will forever stay away from green!

$99 Green Dot
Bought this green dot on sale for $99, marked down from aprox $200. Definitely built strong, and the MOTAC is a nice added benefit. Convenient AAA battery. I prefer the green dot over the red. However, from reading the other reviews, it looks as if both color dots suffer the same distortion when using any setting above level 7. Otherwise, not a bad dot for $99.

Opmod Romeo7S is a solid choice for an optic. Has MOTAC if thats something you care about. Mechanical dial to change to brightness setting. Dot is clear as day.

It's a red dot within your budget that you hope works. It does work.
You know what you're getting. You've watched youtube videos, read shill websites' hot takes, browsed meaningless product reviews (like this one), and you know that Sig outsources their red dot production to another manufacturer that makes good red dots, for a good price. So that's what this is. Good window (22mm go figure) plenty bright dot and a bit on the chunky side, but that's just more meat to love. Ran this on an AK and it held up fine. AAA batteries are easy to find and the flips caps are a nice touch as well. The value you're getting is worth the price (on sale) that you're paying, if that's what you're wondering.

Great Red Dot Sight
I have both Romeo7 and Romeo7S. I use this on my rifles when shooting 100yds or less. I have astigmatism so I thought this wouldn’t work for me but even though I see one dot on top of the other by adjusting the brightness they work out fine and after dialing in hold to zero with no problem at all. The OPMOD model has a very cool color the makes it stand out really well and with the shake awake on this you don’t have to worry about turning this on at all. The Romeo7S sits perfect on my home defense SBR. Sig makes good products and this is not a cheap looking Red Dot, the quality of this product is visible to the eye. I have bought this from Optic Planet when they come on sale just to have extras. You can trust OP to sell good name brands like Sig. As a weapon builder and gun enthusiast I recommend this product.
Pros:
- Nice fit and easy to install with included Allen key
Cons:
- None
Best Used for:
- Target shooting

SIG SAUER OPMOD ROMEO7S 1x22mm Compact Reflex 2 MOA Red Dot Sight
This is one of the lowest-priced red dot sights, powered by the more common "AAA" battery.
It is very sturdy and has excellent clear protective lens caps.
It works better at lower power levels where the red dot is finer. ( works better in darker environments )
At the higher power levels, the finer red dot becomes more of a Star Burst effect.
The Star Burst effect covers a larger area on the target, making pinpoint shots more difficult in bright sunlight.

Solid budget Red Dot.
I have 4 or 5 of the Sig sights. So far I'm pleased with the quality, accuracy and longevity of all that I've purchased. Battery life and the common battery availability and price are selling points.
Pros:
- Color match, battery life and availability.
Cons:
- N/A
Best Used for:
- Carbine, SBR builds

Romeo 7s OPMOD
Got this for a midrange build at a sale price. Finish is flawless and was almost perfectly sighted in right out of the box, 2 clicks right and it was perfect. Nice clean dot , easy to use. I am a fan of the OPMOD versions of many of OP products and would not think twice to buy this. Sure you can get smaller ones but this is nice
Pros:
- Great finish and uses aaa battery
Cons:
- None
Best Used for:
- short to mid range
