I was given the backpack as a gift from my father. I used it often. In fact it's very comfortable to wear,plenty of pockets, lots of places to attach other accessories, but it wasn't long before the straps and webbing rotted and fell apart. The worst part of it is when that started to happen, I was hiking on a trail in the gold country of California during a hot summer day. I lost the function of the left shoulder strap. Once the weight shifted on to the right shoulder strap the webbing started to give out as well. Luckily the right side held on with the assistance of the waist strap. It made for a rough 2 mile hike back to my vehicle. When I stated to my father what had occured, he told me the same exact thing had happened to his backpack regarding the webbing rotting and ripping apart. He wasn't able to exchange for the same product (perhaps it was a bad batch) or something comparable, he was only given the option of a 10% discount on his next purchase.

Bag is good. Holds everything I need it to perfectly. Large main compartment hold whatever you want or need. Even a broken down rifle if need be. Other compartments are adequate as well. Will be buying another very soon.

My husband destroyed his old ruck, and wanted another in tan to carry his gear to work. This one suits him perfectly. Not too big... It's very sturdy, has great quality zippers and fabric, side pockets for smaller things, and is big enough for a good sized lunch bag and the other stuff he's got to carry into work. He said he'll use it off duty too, for days he needs a 'man purse.' (His words, not mine.) ;) Awesome buy and can't beat the price.

I have two of those and the older version the zippers didn’t worked well, they improved the quality, they are strong and holds a lot of weight. I use them to travel to South America and no problems so far i recommend this product

Been looking for day pack for a while..This one is perfect to keep my calls ,rain suit and leafy suit in. I like to keep these items handy in my truck and this pack gets it done. The straps are large enough to fit comfortably. The compression straps make it compact. Easy to wear and easy to store.

Nice bag, seems well made and not expensive. Lots of pockets for holding items, mollie on outside of front and bottom with Velcro for patches. Inside has pouches and elastic for holding items as well.

I purchased two of the camo Limited Edition in 2012. Last week pulled out of closet to use on a day fishing trip,and was unable to use it. All the straps were breaking off. Shoulder straps, waist belt, hand carry handles, chest strap. When will the second one I gave to my son fell?

I contacted Optics-planet and was informed there had been other complaint of the same issue.

I'm very dis-appointed with Optics-Planet because there resolve is a 10% coupon on my next order and for me to write a review. I've spent hundreds of dollars with them and have referred several people to there web-site to make purchases. I don't know if that will continue.

This bag is fanaminal! Shipped quick and for the quality was not priced to high. I have this bad as a go bag and fits all my ammo, mags, water and med supplies you woul need for a week or less. I would recommend this bag to prepers, CCW, or just anyone who sees personal and family protection as a priority. The bag had enough compartments to be convenient but not too many where u forget where you put stuff.

Love the pack. As another reviewer mentioned prior, the waist strap is too short. There is very little extra material to extend it out. Opmod does not make an extension, so I'm off hustling trying to find another compant that does. Disappointed.

The new OPMOD T.A.C. 4.0 has so many key components upgrades and features, this Pack is a steal, even at full price. I’ve owned one of the 2.0 versions in the past and liked it a lot, but the new build of their 4.0 is head and shoulders above the rest of their older models and still the same price!!! Yes, there are a couple name brand packs out there that I really like and are known for their quality products, plus USA build, but they cost 3+ times the price and now have only a slight advantage over the OPMOD 4.0 T.A.C. Pack, if any at all. So now that I’m REALLY SOLD, I’ll will be buying a couple more Packs along with a couple of the smaller EDC versions for my family and I’ll take all the savings to help build each pack out with other quality products from Optics Planet. I’ve been purchasing items from them for over 8yrs and can truly say, their Customer Service is second to none!!!
