Slick Daddy's Review of Troy Industries OPMOD Universal Red Dot Mount
I bought this and a burris fastfire 3 so i could habe aight and cost effective red sot on a PCC. Lets just say, i see why its on sale for 30 dollars.
Theres nothing inherently wrong with the mount, but the way the plates interface with to the mount and how the mount attaches to the gun... idk its not confidence inspiring.
Firstly, there is no RMR footprint. Yeah so if you're looking for RMR compatibility, this aint it chief. Second the plates themselfs are 100 percent 3d printed and have some imperfections to them, the imperfections arent detrimental to the performance of the mount, but what is detrimental is the fact youre mounting your red dot to the platic plate, to the mount and then to the picatiny. Its just a lot of tolerance stacking tbh.
For 30 dollars id say its worth it just to throw a red dot on something for cheap.
