Testing the range finder and hypsometer against known distances, heights and another proven accurate range finder good to 1,200 yds this unit held its own to ~1% (plus/minus) error, which is easily attributed to human error as well as other factors.
I was more interested in the hypsometer function and find that it is as accurate as humanly possible to operate the unit. Practice with the unit provides more consistent accurate results.
Pros: Good optics, range finding, and hypsometer
