Opti-Logic 1000LH InSight Laser Rangefinder w/ Hypsometer
Testing the range finder and hypsometer against known distances, heights and another proven accurate range finder good to 1,200 yds this unit held its own to ~1% (plus/minus) error, which is easily attributed to human error as well as other factors.
I was more interested in the hypsometer function and find that it is as accurate as humanly possible to operate the unit. Practice with the unit provides more consistent accurate results.

This unit provides reproducible measurements of distance and angle within the claimed limits of precision. With only a single control button, careful attention to the sequence of commands is mandatory. The 2-sided instruction sheet is handy for field use when laminated, but the font is miniscule. We use it for road-stream crossing assessments, for which it is well suited.
