Owned for 3 years - excellent optic. Has held up in Alaska with zero issues on many hunts.
I backpack hunt in Alaska and need an ultralight option for spotting game. this fit the bill perfectly. Image is crystal sharp. It is expensive but worth every penny. It is built like a tank. I have had no issues after 3 years of hard use in the back country. I even recently bought the x2 magnifier that attaches to this monocular and it works as a mini spotting scope.

I bought this Opticron 10x42 monocular for use in my secondary 308 chest rig; as I have a binocular which are 8x24 (an old gift), but its' twice the size & weighs more. Thus, I decided to try out this Opticron monocular, & it's excellent! It's clear, & doesn't weigh much at all, however it is a bit thiccc but by no means anywhere near the size of a binocular. ...I like this product so much, that I'm tempted to get a 2nd one of these for use in my primary 5.56 chest rig!
