Easy to install and definitely a quality product. This one has a Flat Trigger which is new to me, but I think I like it. I think this is the single best upgrade for the money in this platform. I don’t want to shoot a standard trigger anymore!

Im typically a big fan of RA triggers, this one had a great break and was crisp. However it would fire on safety. great trigger

This is my sixth Rise Armament AR trigger. The 140 was my go too until now. This 242 is much lighter and more crisp. The take up is non existent and the break is under 2 lbs. The reset is short and audible. I'd highly recommend this trigger for your AR style rifle.

Rise trigger

Thus is the fourth rise trigger I have purchased and all have been very good and perform very well. If any one for a good trigger I would suggest looking at rise trigger.

RISE Armament trigger.

I cannot believe the difference the new trigger made to my shot placement. I’m an AR novice but it brought my 100 yard groups down from 12” to about 4”. I am more than satisfied

Nice and crisp

Replaced an already decent trigger in a build. This is a crisp clean break with a positive reset. Would recommend for any build. Drops right in if you know what you are doing. Moved the other trigger to a different lower with a not so good trigger.

RA-242 ERT Straight Shoe Trigger

I see why the majority of the revues are 5 star, this is a very nice performing trigger. Single stage, zero take up, very crisp clean break, short reset. First straight trigger for this old timer, not sure about the hype of these, it’s hard to beat a finely polished curved shoe on the tip of your finger & indexes to your finger exactly for more precise touch, same place, every time. The straight trigger is ok, but I will likely polish the face and radius the front edges. Install is easy peasy, and reliability is outstanding. Lifetime Warranty is nice as well. Overall, this trigger assembly is sure to please, even the most discerning shooter. It is after all, all about trigger control & this trigger provides that in spades.

Good for the price

My Original trigger was 7.5 lb ..installed the ra-242 and it was on the money at 3.5 lbs pull. Installed 223/556 cal. Ar. Feels good, short reset very happy with this trigger.

Great Trigger

I have other Rise Armament triggers and love everyone of em. The trigger pull on this one has a crisp clean feel which I like because it keeps you on target.

Excellent! I have purchased several of these in the past to replace mill spec triggers. What a difference. These triggers will tighten your groups on targets.

My First RISE Armament Trigger- OUTSTANDING!

This is my first RISE Armament AR cassette trigger. It was recommended as excellent value and it true. Very well made, clean design, includes the necessary locking mounting pins, and hassle-free installation. The trigger itself performs above its price point: consistent pull weight, true single stage no-take up, glass rod snap, and smooth-short-predictable reset. I am a Trigger Tech/ Timney/ Giessele “trigger snob, so this is a pleasant surprise! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS TRIGGER for your next AR build. FYI: this trigger is in a Stribog SP45a3 Lingle Industries aluminum lower.

Great Value, excellent single-stage trigger, consistent overall performance.

Best Used for:

AR type rifle/ pistol builds. Hunting/target shooting/ home defense.
