Decent Pad But Cheap
It's a very thin pad that tears easily. I was using it to build my AR-15 on and ended up snagging a piece of it with my screwdriver. Tore a hole right through it. Used solely as a cleaning pad, it's solid. Don't make the mistake I did and put sharp objects on it.
Great for those you don't have dedicated gun cleaning space
I don't have a garage or a work space in which to clean my guns. I have to do it on a table in our condo. This pad gives me a padded mason witch to deal with my guns, where the table will not be harmed and the parts will not fly away. It is perfect for what it is supposed to do.

Optics Planet Gun Cleaning Pad
Works GREAT and for the Price you can't beat it! Does the job it's design to do. Split a little bore cleaner on it and it just soaked it right up and didn't go thru the mat! I do a lot of shooting and this mat get's used a lot and still looks new! Next order I'm getting another one just to have on hand.

A Cleaning Pad That Works But I Think is Over Priced
There is nothing wrong with this product but I do think it is over priced. I purchased it with another product as an add on and assumed I was getting a deal by combining it with the main purchase. I didn't pay attention to the final price which is my fault. I am glad I have it but it is no deal. I gave it 3 stars because of the price.

A little disappointing
I should have read the description a bit more thoroughly. It is thinner than I expected, maybe a hair or two thicker than 1/6". I was expecting a neoprene or similar backing but it's just a non-slip coating. Again, I should have read the description. The surface is similar to felt and if you accidentally snag the surface with your wire brush, you'd pull tiny strands of the material out of place. The color and simple design of the surface is probably the best feature of this mat.

Gun Cleaning pad
Great size for laying everything out. Nothing gets scratched when I am cleaning my pistol. I also bring it to the range and lay it out on the table when shooting. Rolls up so I can keep it in my range bag. Could have been a little heavier material, but works fine. Good pad for the money, could have spent a lot more.

Works alright, but pretty cheap quality, not worth $8
This pad works as it was designed to do, soaking up CLP and dirty barrel patches, but my first impression of this pad was not as good. It's a very thin pad. I wish it were thicker, that way it could soak up a lot more spill. Nice green color though, pretty refreshing.
