The zippers were very stiff to operate at first. I rubbed some vasoline into the gaps between the zipper teeth on one side of each, with my finger. After working them up & down a few times, they operated much easier. They are a high quality nylon zipper. Other than than that initial issue, they've been perfect. After wearing them a few days, it was necessary to tighten up the laces a bit... but I believe that was the laces stretching, not the zippers. Makes putting my leather work boats on, and taking them off, so much easier. Color is a good match to tan colored leather work boots. The velcro tabs near the top, to prevent the zipper from unzipping, are a nice touch.
