Not for savage actions with staggered feed. - MDT Howa 1500 Oryx Rifle Chassis

Got mine all set up and ready. Tried both a pmag and the 90 dollar MDT mags. Neither would lock in.Contacted their support and after multiple communications he finally said that the frame has to be cut and ground down drastically. Once you do that you can never go back as the old mag box will no longer be mountable. Due to having the mount slots being cut off completely. I would recommend looking for a chassis that won't require cutting your action to use it.
