4 1/2 stars. Works fine but…
I mean it’s a laser pointer in a specific caliber form. It works just fine. I really don’t understand why a why there isn’t a power button that is flush with the casing. Just lazy me I guess. All in all great product.

Doesnt work out of the box
It came with faulty batteries green leaking acid. Clearly visible if anyone had bothered to look at the package. I cleaned it up and bought replacement batteries for 21$ at my local hardware store. So im now into this project 45 dollars or so. I have to clean the battery connectors before installing...

works good
Works just like the description says. Good price. Plus I got the added benefit of driving the dogs and cat crazy with it for a minute

Nice bore sight
Well machined, apparently quality product. Nice, bright, red laser, easily visible in bright lighting — also visible outdoors at 30 feet (didn’t look at it farther away). Ships quickly. Batteries included. I used it to zero a laser sight and a red dot.

No good way off!
I have scopes and red dots i know are zeroed. Put these in on my 9mm scorpion, 5.56ar, and my 9mm hellcat and the bore sight dot was way off from where the scope and reddot signts were at and I know for a fact those sights are at zero! For me they are garbage!

flickers badly
Doesn’t stay on consistently, flickers badly, very unpredictable and extends sight time significantly

Does the job
Nice little laser bore sight. The last one i had would come on accidentally in the case when the batteries made contact. The batteries were often weak or dead when u needed it. This one has a spring loaded cap that only activates the laser when you want it to. Very nice upgrade from my previous one. Gets the job done every time and so far havent noticed any reason not to have it. Will be buying more calibers from Optics Planet.

.45 Bore Sight Laser
Have (3) .45 ACPs and each has its own quirks. One shoots high left, one low left and one right of the X. Bought a sight pusher vice and the bore sight confirmed it wasn't me, my grouping was indicative of that as well. Combining the two tools just dialed all three in extremely tight. Very happy with the boresight and the results.
Pros:
- Inexpensive
- Useful
Cons:
- None
Best Used for:
- Sighting in and maintaining

Bore Sight Laser 300 Win Mag
Just purchased the rifle and sighting it in with the bore site laser made quick work of it, 300 Win Mag ammo is expensive and shooting multiple rounds tends to tender the shoulder...the gun has got some oomph! Using it to sight the gun at various distanced gives me confidence in my optics after travelling to a hunt. If it's off at a known distance, the scope can be dialed back in quickly. Nothing worse than having a scope out of alignment.
Pros:
- Inexpensive
- inexpense and useful
Cons:
- None
Best Used for:
- Sighting in and confirming optics

Bore Sight Laser 38 Special
I have a 8" Barrel 357 Colt Python Hunter with a scope. I love having a bore sight laser to confirm my optics are where they're supposed to be when I get to my hunting location. If it got bumped around enroute, I know instantly and can make corrections without expending rounds and scaring off game. Don't leave home without it!
Pros:
- None
Cons:
- None
Best Used for:
- Sighting and confirming optics are on target
