For the price, it has a decent quality construction but with some flaws.
The entire unit is not completely made of metal, some polymer components like the switch and battery cover.
The switch sometimes gets snagged in holsters so this is not ideal for pistols but does work if you have the special holster for it.
The biggest problem is that the light will go off for a second during recoil, this can be disastrous in a life or death situation.
Over time, after many rounds, it does loose zero, which is also another issue.
