After about 1000 rounds on a 9mm PCC subgun, the light began to flicker (not strobe but die out at times).
The overall design of the light is good for some rifle setups where you want to keep a smooth and sleek addons that wont snag on things like ARs do.
But the weak 400 lumens is closer to 300 lumens doesnt justify the overall size

The fundamental fatal flaw in this unit is its battery cover, it's a thin disc with a few threads that's very easy to cross thread and wont stay on after a few rounds (9mm tested).
The cover pops off and you need to spend many agonizing minutes trying to rescrewing it back on.
The finish also scratches easilly and the dot has a slight fuzz on it similar to the problems of EOTechs.

ompared to the default A4 side folding stock from HK, this one is lighter in weight but requires a button to be pressed when folding. This button is difficult to press and doesn’t fit the human thumb ergonomically.
The hard edges can catch on to clothes or objects when moving around folded or deployed in tight situations.
As a brace it holds well comfortably, along with its light weight, are the two major upsides to this.
Installation; it's a bit oversized so you may have to do some fitting such as sanding areas where it fits into the receiver.
The biggest problem is the amount of force needed to deploy it, and lock it past the large when swinging it out.
It is also loud! about half or louder than a suppressed 9mm round going off when swinging it open and going past the latch.
The look does not match the MP5K's rounded edge design and feels like its more suited for an Armalite.

I got this for match competitions and dynamic drills, the first problem I encountered was simply mounting it.
Although the quick attach system was easy, it didn't hold the unit securely to the rail and would often reduce precision severely by an inch at 15 yards on a PCC 9mm.
This was absolutely unacceptable.
The second problem comes with zeroing, the adjustments for windage and elevation required a Allen key and yet the mount was a quick attach.
In general; remounting occures less often zeroing, and so this was a key issue in the design that bothered me. Using a key to adjust windage or elevation is a major pain.
Next is the display type selector, the switch moves from left to right and as you select each shape the windage goes off slightly (actually a lot).
The power button function is the next issue, it's easy to turn on but you need to press and hold for 3 seconds to turn off. This is rather inconvenient and leads to suceptability of the unit left on and draining the battery.
The multi cycle of intensity button is also very inconvenient, the previous model had a dial.
Overall I'm very disappointed in this as most of the "improvements" were hassles and reduced its reliability.

The handguard has more controls over the older Navy version, which is really nice. However the lamp housing is so far in front of the muzzle it melts after just a few hundred rounds. The brightness is good for night shooting, but tends to illuminate dust being directly under the muzzle

For the price, it has a decent quality construction but with some flaws.
The entire unit is not completely made of metal, some polymer components like the switch and battery cover.
The switch sometimes gets snagged in holsters so this is not ideal for pistols but does work if you have the special holster for it.
The biggest problem is that the light will go off for a second during recoil, this can be disastrous in a life or death situation.
Over time, after many rounds, it does loose zero, which is also another issue.

So you have to tighten the screw very carefully to get the right "tightness", too tight and it will scratch the receiver and too loose the right switch will slip.
For lefties, the index finger is going to rest against the selector and it might feel uncomfortable if you are going for a precision pull.
Overall, very mixed feelings about this one. It's best for a non-precious rifle.

This does conceal whatever you have inside quite well, even the RSO thought it was tennis rackets inside.
The walls are padded so printing is minimal.
There is a nice removable padded divider inside, which I like, so you can separate the action and not have the parts rub against each other.
The handles are not quite comfortable to hold though, and the exterior material does collect marks easily, and does not wash off easily.
You can only fit an 18" complete AR upper btw, not 20" as the ad says. The longest dimension inside the case is 28", not 29".
Aside from that, it is quite roomy, you can also fit quite a bit of extras, including 2 mags and accessories, even a scope.
