Otis Lock Block
Was having trouble installing my muzzle device and keep from twisting my Adams Arms piston gas block out of alignment. This lock block holds the barrel solid, not the upper receiver. You can really get your muzzle brake/flash hider super tight without fear of putting undo stress on the upper or messing up barrel alignment at the upper.
wish I had it sooner
Wish I had this before ruining my upper trying to get stock Ruger barrel nut off. Well the new receiver appreciated it. Was great for installing hand guard and site as well.

Great item to have if you assemble ar platform’s. The brass bushing helps to prevent damaging your upper receiver and takes the slop out when using the lock block.

Solid and simple!
This is a simple solution to firmly holding your barrel/upper in place while adding or removing parts; hand guards, muzzle devices, barrel nuts, etc. The included bushing ensures your receiver is held steady and, though it needs a bit of coaxing to remove from the upper, is not difficult to remove.
