The way you wish Mossberg had done it in the 1st place
This fits 12ga and 20ga Mossberg 500s like a charm (maybe more, that's all I've installed it on). Everything you need for the install is in the package -- including a bonus rear screw-in stud for the stock if you are putting this on an older Mossberg that did not have a rear stud.
The reason this is better than the OEM Mossberg system is that this swivel-stud can rotate without twisting the takedown bolt or unscrewing from it. So no fears if you are twisting and torqueing your sling. It's nice. A great little product.
One small drawback: This part only comes in black so if you have (like I do) a shotgun in Mossy Oak or similar, then the new takedown bolt doesn't match the camo (the original takedown bolt from Mossberg did). Oh well. It's not really very noticeable.
