I have purchased two of these grips, one for my S&W Model 19 2 1/2" and one for my S&W model 686+ 3". I have purchased many other more expensive grips for each that look very nice but when shooting 357 mags they have been punishing. These grips on the other hand make shooting 357's a pleasure, really. The thin profile and tacky rubber grips allows a very firm grip that allows very good control which in turn helped felt recoil a lot. I highly recommend these grips.
