Most Helpful Positive Review Pachmayr Grips for Ruger Mk III
Bought this set for my boy after he used mine and wanted a set of his own. Pros: Great improvement in grip and comfort. Cons: None
Most Helpful Negative Review Pachmayer BDA 380 grips
I bought these grips for my Browning BDA 380, very disappointed in the fit. When installed the top of the grip was to close to the slide and made the gun jam multiple times. They will require alot of trimming to get them to function correctly. This isn't the first time I have been let down by pac...

Rubber Pachmayr Grips for Ruger .22 Pistol

by Lambeau, from WI, United States Written on January 31, 2019
Excellent Grips. A little tricky to install, you have to make sure they are pulled tight to the frame. I have the same make grips on other pistols, I think they helped me improve my accuracy. Great Price too. I recommend these grips.
Pros:
  • Better control
  • better control & Price
Cons:
  • Easier Assembly

Pachmayr grips for Browning BDA

by Buckmark Dirk, from TX, United States Written on March 14, 2016
The grips work pretty well but they don't fit perfectly without having to modify them somewhat. I had to take a dremmel tool and grind off some of the grip at the top so the slide would still function properly, because without doing that, the slide would rub on the top of the grips and not let the pistol cycle properly. But I did manage to do this with a small drum sanding attachment for my dremmel tool and made it look good. The installation wasn't the easiest. The back strap piece was a pain in the neck to install because everything is so tight. I used a couple small flat tipped screw drivers and finally managed to get the job done. The finished product looks good... But just be warned... It's not a product that can be installed without SOME modification and determination.

Mr. Pachmayr

by Bandito, from LA, United States Written on March 5, 2016
If they make it for a piece from my collection, I'm getting it. Pachmayr never fails to make top quality control factors that make all the difference. Besides that they look top notch! Function, quality, great looks, and the name makes these grips a no Brainerd for any firearm.
Pros:
  • quality product
Cons:
  • Not made for every firearm I have

So far impressed

by dp, Verified Owner from OH, United States Written on December 25, 2015
Seems well made , very nice fit and detail on the Beretta m-9 92FS. Really adds bulk to the grip if you have a large hand. Side plates are well checkered for positive grip. No mistaking the "feel" with the combination of the rubber finger grooves, rubber back strap, and checkered side plates. Hand locks right in. However haven't shot with it yet, just checking it out so far. Rubber back strap is a separate piece from the finger grove/side plate combination. You install it under the edge of the rigid side plates and that is the only thing that holds it on/in place. Think it will stay in position but if it drifts or wonders I will just put a speck of silicon caulk under it. Give 4 instead of 5 because I haven't shot with it yet or had it long enough to say how it holds up or seen if the rubber expands or contracts with temperature changes.

THESE GRIPS ARE A MUST-HAVE FOR THIS PISTOL

by JeremiahJohnson, Verified Owner from NY, United States Written on July 28, 2015
We recommend these grips for every single customer who purchases a Browning HiPower from our store. It seems that opticsplanet.com is the only vendor that sells them. These grips are very hard to get, but once you do have them and install them on your pistol you will fall in love with them. Long lasting, great quality, highly recommended.

Pachmyer Grip

by Paul, Verified Owner from MI, United States Written on October 18, 2011
The finger swells increase the control of the gun considerably. Getting the screws to line up with the holes and keep the back strap in place at the same time made for a real adventure.
Pros: Increases the controlability of gun
Cons: Pain in the rear to get screws to line up

Tips on install

by Legacy Reviewer, from WA, United States Written on February 26, 2011
Use three or four rubber bands to hold the grip on the frame. The screw fit fine, but took a firm surface and steady hand. Note, this is a PPK/S - don't know about other frames. The rubber bands hold the grip well for installation. (Use heavy duty rubber bands, or even more light weight ones.)
Pros: Great grip, good for small delicate hands
Cons: Installation not too hard, but not easy
