Most Helpful Positive Review 02919: Pachmayr Signature Grip w/ No Back Straps for Colt 1911
Very easy to put on and it feels so much better than the wood grips I have more control, I feel better about firing this weapon with the control I have with these grips. And I cannot believe how much it has change the looks of my gun. I would recommend these for anyone a 1911. Pros: Looks much better than the original grips Cons: N/A

Can't go wrong

Everyone that picks up my gun loves these grips. Especially perfect for those that don't have a checkered front strap. Great ergonomics, amazing grip and control. Only downside is if you like really thin grips as these add some surface area.

Pachmayr Signature Grips

Excellent grips. I've had one on my Combat Commander for 40+ years and they are holding up great. Now I've picked up another 1911 and it's time to get another onr for it. They do add a little bulk to your grip so small to medium hands will notice that. But with that said, I have medium hands and my daughter has small hands and it doesn't bother either one of us as the "stickyness" of the grip makes it easy to hold onto.

  • Need to keep frame well oiled beneath grips
  • "Stickyness" of grip may not make it the best choice for CC

Pachmayr Classic Grip for 1911

A great "working-no frills" grip. I have used this grip for over 40 years on my 1911's and it works especially under stress or when you sweat a lot! This is an inexpensive grip that meets my needs, looks good and won't scratch up or slip around in your hand. Positive texture for maintaining a solid grip on your pistol.

Really Nice

I purchased these for my Desert Eagle 1911C. They are the cat's meow. Fit for my hand is fabulous. The gripping capabilities for this gun and I are the best. No loosing control with these. Will probably never replace them.

These are great grips. I have them on a full size Colt 1911 for my wife, and on a Kimber Ultra Carry II for myself. Great grips and makes shooting both guns even more of a breeze than they already are. Also helps with secure grips during the hot summer months.

I put these on my Springfield 1911 Loaded Operator, way better than the grips they came with in my opinion. Not only do they look good they feel good. Actually these same grips come with the Springfield Loaded Operator "MC" Marine Core Version. For the money you can't go wrong with these grips, they feel good and they have excellent grip even when your hands are sweaty. I consider these grips an upgrade fore sure and less than $25.00. No brainer!!

Pachmayr Signature 1911 Pistol Grips

Excellent alternative grips for a 1911. Front of grip wraps around and provides a better hand hold on non-checkered front strap pistols. The rubber material is comfortable and the molded inserts hold proper form. Easier on the hands than G10 grips but just as secure.
