If you have ever built an AR or have merely changed out a barrel on one, this thing is a breeze to install. In my case I made it more difficult intentionally, however, because I wished to retain the existing A-2 FSB w/gas port. All you have to do for this to work is to remove the stubborn taper pins first to get the FSB/gas block off in order to put the barrel nut on, and wait to install your gas tube and reinstall your FSB and gas tube AFTER you have already screwed the forend on the barrel nut. (The enclosed instructions will tell you this and it's no major issue). Fits perfectly though with the 10.5" BBL. (This is an SBR that I registered a few years back). This is the one you need to get from Pantheon Arms if you intend to go this route. It looks great and I need to get it out to the range to see how much the zero might have changed on this rifle. I recommend this as an inexpensive option if you want to have your own "take down" AR. I am kind of late to this concept and didn't realize that these QD systems have been out for some years now. But if I wind up liking it, I may just get a few more of these kits at some point.

Works good easy to install needs some cosmetic improvements.When removed from the rifle the barrel is loose and hits against the hand guard.

This is a very nice system but you will need 2 barrel shim kits with this product in order to get the barrel to fix with out wobbling around. Once you have it shimmed properly it is a decent system but the locking pin could be made from a better material or design to prevent early wear out. Make sure you order a extra locking pin with your kit.

Went with a barrel take down for my AR pistol over a folding stock/brace. Good price point on the Dolos with the handguard.

Easy to install and requires no special tools. Found it useful to watch the video by Pantheon Arms on installing this. Handguard is the perfect length for an 8.5 inch barrel with a muzzle device.

It is now quick and easy to attach or remove the barrel from my AR.

DON'T FORGET TO GET THE Prometheus Wrench Castle Nut tool. Makes seating the retaining nut so much easier and secure. This is the second one I got because the first one is a dream. Change from 5.56MM to 300 Black out is a snap! Just do not forget to mark your upper and mags with color tape so not to mix them up.

This thing is well made easy to install. It makes for a great way to pack up, store and travel with my weapon.

I installed this on my backpack build and loved it. it works flawlessly once you get all your settings in place. would recommend to anyone and would use it again. I would also recommend getting another set and do a .223/5.56 barrel so you can interchange and have two calibers for one pistol/rifle.

The take down kit is AWESOME I am so glad that I purchased this kit. My friends are a little Jealous that they don't have it. I am sure they will be reaching out to you soon to get one for themselves

I will say that the installation had to be done 4 times. Overall, good quality. The problem that I find is that the handguard rail does not line up with the upper receiver rail. I should have just gone with the non railed handguard. I emailed customer service and they did reach out to me in a reasonable time frame. I would buy this again. Make sure that you use blue loctite where they say and DO NOT let the bolt slam forward with the barrel off!
