Anytime you can get a 1000 foot role of real strong cord for less than $3 is a good thing. The website never said the strength of the cord, which is listed as 100 pounds test. One might expect parachute cord to be strong than 100 pounds, but it is listed as "micro" parachute cord - so still, 1000 feet of 100 pound test cord for less than 3 bucks is value.
