Night Vision

by DAB, from TN, United States Written on September 27, 2022
Further vision than others I have used though I am no expert. Remember the 6.5 minimum, not a short range scope. Forget using the supplied instructions without going online for further assistance. I had to get extra batteries due to battery life. Overall myself and those I let try it out like it
Pros:
  • Easy enough to to use and decent distance.
Cons:
  • The 6.5x13 can be too much in some situations but so far I have made it work. It is a lot for the limitations of a night vision scope.

Pard Night Vision 6.5X-12X Riflescope Nv008 NV-008 Review

by GA, from IL, United States Written on August 19, 2020
Had to leave a review for you guys because nobody else has.
Actually, this unit comes with the 9/2020 Firmware update which means you get the 6.5X-13.5X magnification, The PIP and multiple Reticle choices. Fancy that, the poor Brits DO NOT have a Second Amendment… keep that thought in mind. However, they do some very nice reviews and they’re relevant. I have walked around outside at night and overall, I like this scope, it’s lightweight and is functional as a handheld Monocular (you can cancel the crosshairs) or as a riflescope out to about two hundred yards. I would zero at fifty yards for .5.56 and you will be pretty close at 200 yards. For the price and functionality this is a very capable option compared to other NV options for the price point and functions. The sight comes out of the box shooting a bit low and left, same for the Brit reviews. Two tips that come to mind right off, (1) the manufacturer includes two shims (if you need another one, simply cut a shim out of a soda can) that you put under the rear of the sight to raise the reticle more towards the center of the scope after adjusting zero, because it will be low. (2) if your scope will not adjust initially using the Zero function, simply take out the battery and count to ten, Reinsert the battery and all should work as per t...
