Most Helpful Negative Review I gave this thermal two chances, and both had problems
I have had nothing but issues with this SA62-35 thermal. The first one I ordered directly from PARD had a bad thermal image sensor. There was a blurry line that ran from the top of the image to the bottom of the image. The blurry line was also in the recorded videos, so it was not an LCD screen issue. I spent $80 to ship it back, I was told that they would refund the shipping, but I was not refunded for the shipping. The second SA62-35 was ordered through Optics Planet, and it also had issues. There was a thermal gradient of hot to cold from the bottom left of the image to the top right of th...

I had great expectations

by Jamie Nejezchleb, from NE, United States Written on December 17, 2024
This is the second Pard that I had purchased and had big expectations for it. My first Pard is a SA32 45mm and am pleased with it. I bought this scope thinking that it would be an upgrade. I don't know if the thermal sensor is bad or what the problem is, Pard is going to have to figure that one out, as I'm sending it in under warranty. It appears that it had developed several dead pixels that won't go away and are very annoying. Also the thermal resolution does not appear to be any better than an SA32. After getting the scope, I noticed that the refresh rate is only 30 mhz, which is also a little annoying. I like the pard scopes, price point is amazing, options are unparalleled, but for me this one flopped. We'll test the warranty department out, and see how they handle it.
Pros:
  • Price
  • Size
  • many options
  • removable battery
Cons:
  • refresh rate
  • Thermal sensor
Best Used for:
  • Night viewing and hunting
Would recommend: No

great for the price

by Eric Norman, Verified Owner from TN, United States Written on February 9, 2024
I got it for just under $2k. For that price it is amazing. Great picture, wide fov good battery life, and nice reticle. Works great as a scanner and is a decent scope. Downsides are the refresh lags and some dead pixels. Also the mount isn’t a qd which is annoying. Also when zeroing it zooms out to base mag for adjustments so not as precise as other thermals.
Pros:
  • compact
  • battery life
  • Cheap
  • fov
  • Reticle and clarity
  • picture is good
Cons:
  • china
  • refresh rate
  • zeroing
  • mount could be better
Best Used for:
  • night hunting
  • SCANNING
