Joel P's Review of The Triggered Company Partisan Disruptor AR-15 FRT 3 Position Drop In Forced Reset Rifle Trigger w/ Single Side Safety Selector
I like it, but only giving 4 stars because I had some issues with it. First off it recommended an H3 buffer.. Trigger wouldn’t reset in 3rd position with the H3 buffer, swapped it out for an H2.
H2 buffer with a nickel boron (full auto profile) BCG, would only fire about 3-4 rounds in the 3rd position before locking up.
Swapped the nickel boron BCG out for a nitride BCG and after that she was running a lot better, not flawless but it finally started cycling through mags. I did have some mags that wouldn’t completely empty but I’d say 90% of each mag I tested would cycle fine. (Standard Pmags worked better than the windowed version)
I’d recommend it, it’s a fun range toy, but this definitely isn’t meant for practical use, too unreliable for s.h.t.f scenarios. But it’ll put a smile on your face when you get it running.
I have it in a 14.5 pin and welded upper from PSA with a CHF barrel (it is over gassed)
Nitride BCG full auto profile
H2 buffer and standard spring
That all being said this is my first FRT, so there’s definitely user error involved and some fine tuning that needs to be done to get it to run just right. But I’d say don’t get disappointed once you throw it in and she locks up on you, just gotta find the sweet spot… and oh yeah… don’t forget the lube ;)
