Better grip to control a 10mm - Pearce Grip Magazine Extension for Glock 29/20/21/40/41

The OEM base plate on my Glock 29 mag was a little tough to slide off at first. You have to coordinate squeezing the sides of the mag nearest the base plate while sliding it off which can be difficult. The only problem I found with the Pearce mag extension is the plastic piece that catches the magazine spring was tall and was preventing the new mag extension from completely seating on the mag. I just used the original plastic spring catch from the original base plate. I'm not sure if I wasn't manipulating it enough to jam it in there, but I haven't had a problem with magazine using the standard spring retainer.
