Pelican calls this the original equipment replacement o-ring for their water tight cases. Having never replaced one I was curious, and discovered on arrival that the "o-ring" was simply a piece of neoprene foam that fits and conforms to the groove on the case. It is not truly an o-ring but a seal and it is a little difficult to install since it tends to stretch. Also, no installation instructions came with this seal, so there were no pointers. The old seal was held in with a rubber cement-like compound so I repeated that treatment. Once in place the case is difficult to close as the new seal has not compressed yet, but it seems to work as designed so I can't complain too much.
Pros: Seems to work as designed
Cons: Difficult to install, not really an o-ring
