I am a marine engineer who works on the Mississippi and Illinois rivers. We do our crew changes by van, and everybody's luggage ends up in the rear of the van. With this case, it's no problem if my laptop ends up on the bottom of the heap, I know that it's OK. Plus, I know the computer is protected against all the knocks that are dished out on steel hull workboats as we go back and forth, not to mention safe from water splash. Wish I had found these early on, I never would have wasted money on cloth bags.
