Most Helpful Positive Review Luggage
I actually bought two of the 1620 cases without foam. One of them (Black) I use for a gear box that I ship to different work locations vis Fed Ex, UPS, etc. The other (Desert Tan) I use as my suitcase. I have traveled for work all over the world for the past 18 years and have gone through many different suitcases and all of them get trashed no matter what brand or how much I spent on them. Even the top of the line samsonites do not hold up. Guess what the pelican may not look as pretty but it will outlast all cases no matter what hostile conditions (airlines) you put them through. Pelican Cases at large

Please, take the time to decide which of the many sizes of cases will be ideal for your application. I previously purchased a larger case where all my equipment fit nicely, but it was too large for the Airlines. Then I tried again with 2 units of this smaller size, and all my equipment flew to Argentina and back in comfort and safety. With no extra charges. This is the best decision I've made about caring for my Video Equipment.
Pros: Excellent care for your most delicate Electronics

Great Case

I purchased this case not long after buying a similar SKB brand case. I should have bought 2 of these instead. Built much better and with more features for less! It surpassed my expectations. Next time, Pelican all the way for me.

as an aircraft technician who travels at least twice a month doing contract work all over the world,it is comforting to find all my tools safe and sound to and from where i going!!
Pros: can handle getting kicked around! very strong locking latches
