This is a modern heavy duty flashlight that utilizes super bright LED lighting and rechargeable batteries.
It's a little too big for backpacking, tactical use, or just slipping into your pocket.
The recharging cradle is solid. It can be a little tricky positioning the flashlight properly in the cradle when it's dark. The LED starts flashing to let you know when it's successfully docked.
Pros: extremely bright, rechargeable, super durable
Cons: not a small flashlight, charging cradle is a little finicky
