The foam works well but I expected it to "tear/pluck" similarly to the picture. Instead of being removed as a cube, it comes out as a rectangular piece because it is cut through the entire block of foam. I nearly destroyed my first block of this as I attempted to create a pocket. Thus, I've not found a good way to create a pocket allowing a "wide" device to set in the case. It seems more like this foam is meant to keep an object from sliding rather than protect it from shock.
Pros: Inexpensive, Fits Snugly, Good Cushioning Ability
Cons: Picture is Misrepresentative
